However, we understand that there may be occasions when you wish to return or exchange a product. This policy outlines our terms and process to ensure your experience with us remains seamless, transparent, and fair.

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns or exchanges under the following conditions:

  • You must notify us of your intention to return or exchange an item within seven (7) days of purchase or delivery.
  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition with no signs of wear, damage, or alteration.
  • All original packaging, certificates of authenticity, receipts, and tags must be returned with the item.
  • The purchase must have been made directly from GoldBod Jewellery (in-store or through our official website).

Please note that items returned after the 7-day period may not be accepted.

Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items

For safety, hygiene, and quality assurance purposes, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom-made or personalized jewellery, including engraved or specially commissioned pieces.
  • Resized, repaired, or altered items after purchase.
  • Discounted, clearance, or promotional items.
  • Gift cards or vouchers.

These conditions help us maintain the integrity and exclusivity of every GoldBod creation.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

If you wish to return or exchange an item:

  1. Contact our customer service team via +233 030 295 3279 / 3284 or email info@goldbodjewellery.gov.gh within the return window.
  2. Provide details such as your order number, date of purchase, and reason for return.
  3. Our team will guide you through the process and provide a Return Authorization (RA) number if the item qualifies.

You may:

  • Return the item in person at any GoldBod Jewellery showroom, or
  • Ship it back securely using a reliable, trackable courier service (shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the item was damaged or incorrect).

Inspection & Approval

Once we receive your returned item, our quality assurance team will:

  • Inspect the piece to ensure it meets the return conditions.
  • Verify authenticity, packaging, and accompanying documentation.
  • Upon approval, you will be notified by email or phone regarding your exchange, store credit, or refund.

If the item does not meet our return criteria, it will be sent back to you, and the return will not be processed.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued using the original method of payment (e.g., cash, mobile money, card, or bank transfer). Refunds may take up to 7–10 working days after approval, depending on your payment provider.

Alternatively, customers may opt to receive a store credit of equal value, redeemable for future purchases at GoldBod Jewellery.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  • Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery or pickup.
  • Provide clear photos and your order details to help us verify the issue.
  • We will arrange for a replacement, repair, or full refund at no additional cost to you.

Your satisfaction and trust are of the highest importance to us.

Responsibility During Return Shipping

GoldBod Jewellery is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping. Customers are advised to:

  • Use a secure, trackable courier service.
  • Properly package the jewellery to prevent damage in transit.
  • Retain proof of shipment until the return is confirmed by our team.
